Viktor Khryapa What A Long Strange Trip It’s Been
Posted by Jeff Sack under Main

The “Chicago Tribune” spoke with former Chicago Bulls small forward Viktor Khryapa who was waived by the team and bought out of his contract earlier this week. Khyrapa had asked Bulls General Manager John Paxson if the team could work out a settlement, because he was not getting any playing time. The 25 year old native of Russia, will return to his homeland and will play for CSKA Moscow in the Russian Leagues.
Khyrapa, basically feels as if he wasted two years of his playing career with Chicago. After playing in 69 games during his rookie year withe the Portland Trail Blazers, he played only 33 games last season, and just 9 games in the current season. Khyrapa does not know if there is a future for him in the Association, but he does not feel he has one with the Bulls.
