Marion & Banks Will Play Sunday For Miami

The Associated Press reported Saturday that the two newest members of the Miami Heat forward Shawn Marion, and guard Marcus Banks should play on Sunday when Miami takes on the Los Angeles Lakers. Both players have passed their physicals, and attended their first practice as Miami players Saturday morning. Marion and Banks came to the Heat in a blockbuster trade earlier this week, that sent former Miami center Shaquille O’Neal to the Phoenix Suns. Marion and Banks have gone from a team that had one of the best records in the Association as Phoenix leads the NBA Pacific Division with a record of 35-15,(second only to Boston in the league going into Saturday’s games)??to the team with the worst record in the NBA. Miami is 9-39 in last place in the NBA Southeast Division.?
