Doc Likes Status Quo, Says No Trades Are Needed

The “Boston Herald” reported Monday that Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers, says he is completely happy with his team as presently constituted. He says once everybody gets back to full strength health wise, he feels his team has a very bright future this year. The “Big Ticket” Kevin Garnett has missed the last seven games, and will be out through the NBA All-Star Game which is next Sunday. Sunday Boston also played without starting center Kendrick Perkins who is out with shoulder pain in his left shoulder. Boston has the best record in the Association, 39-9, in first place in the NBA Atlantic Division.
