Heat Owner Arison Says Shaq Got Trade Wheels Moving

The “Palm Beach Post” reported Monday that Miami Heat owner Micky Arison stated that last week’s trade to center Shaquille O’Neal to Phoenix was precipitated by O’Neal’s agent asking for his client to be moved. Miami owner Micky Arison told the paper, that he had first?been contacted by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, about arranging a buy out of the veteran center’s pact with the Heat. Arison said he had no interest in doing that, but the Shaq’s?agent Perry Rogers approached him with the same request. Arison said that at that point, he contacted Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver, and got the deal put into place. According to the report, Arison said that he has no ill feelings, towards Shaq, and is hoping he gets another title with Phoenix this year.
