Huge Third Quarter Leads To Raptors Devouring T-Wolves 105-82

Andrea Bargnani led four of five Toronto Raptors starters in double figures, and Jose Calderon for the second straight game recorded a double-double, as Toronto toyed with the Minnesota Timberwolves winning 105-82. Toronto took complete?control over the T-Wolves in the second half as they outscored Minnesota 54-35.
Both teams stayed pretty close in the first half, as Toronto had a 29-25 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Raptors led 51-47 as both teams went to their respective locker rooms at the half. But the competitiveness ended when the two teams took the floor. Toronto led at the end of the third quarter, 77-61. Minnesota never got any closer in the final quarter, as the fourth period was basically glorified garbage time.
Bargnani led the way for the Raptors in the victory, he scored 16 points, grabbed six rebounds, and he had 1 steal. Jose Calderon scored 15 points, 10 assists, 3 rebounds, 1 steal, Chris Bosh had 14 points, 9 boards, 2 blocks, 2 assists. Jason Kapono came off the?bench scoring 12 points,?2 rebounds, 1 steal, Anthony Parker scored 10 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds. T.J. Ford? scored just 7 points coming off the pine, but had a game 13 assists, 4 rebounds, 1 steal.
Minnesota was led by their up and coming center Al Jefferson who shot 8-16 from the floor, 2-3 from the line, for a game high 18 points, 9 boards, 3 assists, 1 block. Marko Jaric scored 11 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, they were the only two players in Timberwolves uniforms to score in double figures. Toronto with the win are now 27-22, Minnesota is 10-39.
