Manu Ginobili had a double-double, scoring 34 points, and grabbing a career high 15 rebounds, as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Toronto Raptors Monday 93-88. Ginobili and teammate Tim Duncan accounted for 28 of San Antonio’s 46 rebounds for the game. The Spurs out rebounded the Raptors 46-34, Ginobili again was in the starting lineup due to the absence of point guard Tony Parker. Parker missed his seventh straight game due to a sprained left ankle, he is due to return to playing after the All-Star break.

San Antonio basically had a very good first half, and then hung on for the ride during the second. The Spurs grabbed a 27-21 advantage, at the end of the first quarter. San Antonio could barely hit the basket in the third quarter, as they scored just 13 points, and Toronto was back in the game at the end of the period down only 68-60. Toronto would cut the lead down to just 3 points, a couple of times during the final period, but that was as close as they got, and San Antonio left town with a victory.
