Stoudemire, Miller Selected Players of the Week

Amare Stoudemire and Andre Miller today were selected the Western Conference and Eastern Conference Players of the Week for games played from Monday, February 4 to Sunday, February 10.? Stoudemire helped lead the Phoenix Suns to a 3-1 record by averaging 28.5 PPG, 13.5 RPG and 3.25 BPG; Stoudemire concluded his week with?a 31-point effort as the Suns defeated the Washington Wizards 108-107 Sunday.

Miller, during a 3-1 week for the Philadelphia 76ers, averaged 19.5 PPG, 9.0 APG and only committed 10 turnovers; Miller dished out a team-high 14 assists on February 5 in the Sixers’ 101-96 win over the Wizards.? Other nominees for the Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week were: Denver?s Carmelo Anthony, Golden State?s Monta Ellis, New Orleans?
