Lakers’ Mihm To Undergo Surgery, Out 4-6 Weeks

It is speculative in nature right now to say if the loss of Los Angeles Lakers center Chris Mihm will have a long-term effect on the team; however, according to the Los Angeles Times, Mihm will undergo surgery on his right heel and is expected anywhere between 4 to 6 weeks.? Both the team and Mihm think that surgery was the best option and hope to return at some point of this season as a backup.? The surgery is expected to be performed sometime this week.? Mihm sat out last season while recovering from reconstructive ankle surgery; in 19 games this season, Mihm is averaging 4.1 PPG and 3.7 RPG.
