No Shaq For Suns VS Golden State

The Associated Press reported Tuesday that new Phoenix Suns center Shaquille O’Neal will not make his debut as a Phoenix player Wednesday night when the Suns play the Golden State Warriors. However the team has said that the following night’s contest against the Dallas Mavericks remains a possibility for him to play in. O’Neal was traded to Phoenix last week for forward Shawn Marion and guard Marcus Banks.?O’Neal told reporters he wants to get his timing down before he plays with Phoenix. He referred to the Suns as a finely tuned machine, and basically said he does not want to gum up the works. If O’Neal does not play Thursday, his most likely date for return is February 20, against his former team the Lakers.
