The “Chicago Sun-Times” Monday reported that Chicago Bulls General Manager said reports about the Bulls having interest in former coach Larry Brown to be their new bench boss has no credibility. Monday the “Philadelphia Inquirer” quoted sources close to the situation, as saying Chicago was intrigued with Brown taking the reigns from interim coach Jim Boylan. Paxson said the rumors were just that rumors, and they had no credence what ever. He said that he has not even begun the initial inquiry into next year’s coach. Paxson reiterated that Boylan would be the bench boss for the rest of this campaign. Boylan a former Bulls assistant coach, became interim coach after Chicago terminated former coach Scott Skiles in December.
