Ratliff Ready For Action As Knee Heals
Posted by Jeff Sack under Main
Tuesday the “St. Paul Pioneer Press” reported that Minnesota Timberwolves veteran center Theo Ratliff expects to start playing sometime this month. Ratliff who is now in his thirteenth season in the Association, had meniscus surgery on his right knee back on December 18. Ratlliff says he is now pain free, and he is starting to feel like he is getting his timing back. Ratliff came to the T-Wolves in the deal that sent Kevin Garnett to Boston. Ratliff looked like he was on the verge of greatness, when he played for Philadelphia from 1997-2001. However after a down year with Atlanta in the 2001-2002 campaign injuries have basically derailed a once promising career. Ratliff turns 35 years old this April.
