Well he may not be going to Dallas after all. The “Dallas Morning News” reported? Wednesday night, that the proposed trade sending New Jersey Nets point guard Jason Kidd to Dallas in a?blockbuter?deal, may be dead in the water. The reason?? Reserve forward Devean George has a no trade clause in his contract, and he has?put a fly in the Vaseline but exercising?it. The paper?asked?Dallas owner Mark Cuban if he thought the trade would go through, Cuban told the paper “No, I?don’t think so.”

The deal would have sent point guard Devin Harris, Jerry Stackhouse, Devean George, DeSagna Diop, Maurice Ager, and cash considerations to the Nets. The deal would also have given New Jersey the Dallas draft picks, in 2008, and 2010. In return Dallas would have gotten J-Kidd, and Malik Allen from the?Nets.
