Ginobili who has taken his game to another level with the absence of Tony?Parker helped San Antonio shoot 60% from outside the arc (12-20.)?The win tied the season series with Cleveland who defeated the Spurs earlier in the campaign in their duel in San Antonio.
Cleveland drew first blood as they led 24-18 at the end of quarter number one, and held a slim 47-46 advantage when the two teams went to their respective locker rooms at the half. Cleveland led by as many as? 7 points early on in the third quarter, but the Spurs kept chipping away, taking a brief lead at 65-64 on a Tim Duncan bucket with 2:47 left in the quarter. San Antonio held the advantage for the rest of the game, as the Cavaliers could not mount a comeback.
Ginobili did a little bit of everything Wednesday night, along with his 46 points, he had 8 assists, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 block. Duncan recorded a double-double 23 points, 13 boards, 2 blocks, 2 assists, 1 steal, Ime Udoka came off the bench to score 12 points, 3 rebounds. Bruce Bowen scored 10 points, 3 assists, 1 rebound.
LeBron James had another superb game as he scored 39 points, 9 assists, 6 boards, 1 block. Larry Hughes also had another great game as he scored 26 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists. They were the only two Cleveland players to score in double figures in the game. With the win San Antonio is now 34-17, Cleveland after the loss is 29-23.
