Shaq’s Suns Debut Sidelined Until After All-Star Break

The “Arizona Republic” Thursday reported that Phoenix Suns fans will have to wait until February 20, to get a look at their new center Shaquille O’Neal in a Suns uniform. O’Neal told the paper he would not make his Phoenix debut on Thursday night against the Dallas Mavericks. The veteran center said his hip feels fine, but he does not feel he is quite on the same page with his new teammates yet. He told the paper he was afraid he would mix up plays that Phoenix ran, with plays he used to run with the Heat and the Lakers. Shaq will face the Lakers in his debut next Wednesday night, as the Suns play Los Angeles.
