Are Larry & Larry Safe In Milwaukee?
Posted by Jeff Sack under Main
With a 19-34 record, sitting in last place in the NBA Central Division 20.5 games behind division leading Detroit there has not been a lot to celebrate for the Milwaukee Bucks this season. After Bucks head coach Larry Krystkowiak ripped his players earlier this week for having too many personal agendas and not thinking enough about the team, the All-Star break could not come quickly enough. The “Milwaukee Journal Sentinel” in Friday’s edition remembered that the Bucks had the same exact record at the All-Star break last year. Krystkowiak’s former boss and predecessor former Milwaukee coach Terry Stotts was fired in March, leading to Larry being promoted from a Stotts’ assistant to the bench boss.
Bucks General Manager Larry Harris is in the last year of his contract, which has led to speculation of whether the men are secure in their positions. According to the paper Bucks owner, and United States Senator Herbert Kohl, says he is not even thinking about next year. The Senator says although he is disappointed with the lack of progress made this season, he told the paper he had made no decisions of the fate of the two men. He went on to say that everyone in the organization, including himself share the responsibility of the less than stellar campaign the team is having.
