Big Ticket Expects To Make Return To Celtics Lineup Tuesday

The “Boston Globe” reported Sunday that Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett expects to return to play this Tuesday as Boston takes on the Denver Nuggets. The “Big Ticket” has missed nine straight games with a strained abdominal muscle, the Green Team has gone 7-2 during that span. Garnett was also supposed to start for the NBA Eastern Conference All-Star team on Sunday but missed the game due to the injury. Boston coach Doc Rivers has been insistent on his forward not playing until he is fully healed. Rivers told the paper, that Celtics trainer Ed?Lacerte would examine Garnett when the team gets back together after the break. The Celtics have the best record in the Association, going into the break at 41-9.
