Super Dwight Wins Slam Dunk Contest

Look up in the sky, it’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s the Orlando Magic Center! Dwight Howard, complete with Superman uniform, and replete with cape won the NBA All-Star Weekend Slam Dunk Contest Saturday night in New Orleans. Howard took off almost from the free throw line, and flew to the basket slamming the ball home. Howard was able to defeat last year’s winner Minnesota Timberwolves Gerald Green, who had teammate Rashad McCants put a cupcake on the rim of the basket, complete with lit birthday candle, which Green blew out while making his dunk. This may have been the most entertaining Slam Dunk Contest since back in the day with Michael, and Dominique.
