In what turned out to be a fantastic weekend for the city of New Orleans, the NBA Eastern Conference All-Stars topped the NBA Western Conference All-Stars Sunday 134-128. Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James was named the games MVP as he just missed a triple-double scoring 27 points, 9 assists, 8 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 steals. The player who scored the most points for the East, and for the game was not even supposed to be on the team originally. The Western Conference team coached by New Orleans Hornets coach Byron Scott only had one starter in double figures, Carmelo Anthony who scored 18 points, had 7 rebounds, 1 assist.
