Big Ticket Says I Feel Fine

ESPN reported Tuesday that Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett told reporters after practice Monday night, that he is ready, willing, and able to play Tuesday night when the Celtics face the Denver Nuggets. The “Big Ticket” has missed nine straight games with a strained abdominal muscle, the Green Team has gone 7-2 during that span. Garnett was also supposed to start for the NBA Eastern Conference All-Star team on Sunday but missed the game due to the injury. Boston coach Doc Rivers has been insistent on his forward not playing until he is fully healed. Rivers has said, that Celtics trainer Ed Lacerte would examine Garnett before he allows the veteran to take the floor. The Celtics have the best record in the Association, coming out of the break at 41-9.
