Wizards Thomas Given Clearance To Practice

Less than?six months after under going open heart surgery, Washington Wizards center Etan Thomas?has been clearance to practice with the team according to a report by the Associated Press. Thomas was having a physical before the season when doctors discovered that he had a leaky aortic valve. The surgery corrected the problem with his heart, but Thomas had to have his sternum cracked open during the procedure. There is still no word when?Thomas who will turn 30 in April will be allowed?to play in a game.
