Reports Say Nets Could Have Vin-Sanity On The Block

Chris Sheridan who covers the NBA for ESPN.com is reporting Tuesday night that now that Jason Kidd is all safely settled in Dallas, the New Jersey Nets may have another key player that they may be on the verge of trading. Vince Carter.?Sheridan?writes about?a few different options, that New Jersey could be exploring, but the most realistic scenario would involve three teams. Sheridan says that are talks going on between New Jersey, the New York Knicks, and the Miami Heat. If this deal would come to fruition, the Knicks would get Vin-Sanity, Miami would get New York center Eddy Curry, and New Jersey would get Ricky Davis, and Jason Williams whose contracts expire at the end of the season.?This deal probably makes too much sense to actually happen, the Knicks get a marketable?name in Carter, the Heat get the big man they want, and New Jersey would clear cap space to rebuild next year.
