“Yahoo Sports” reported Wednesday night that the San Antonio Spurs and Seattle Super Sonics have completed a deal, that would send Seattle center Kurt Thomas to the Spurs, while the?Sonics get veteran guard Brent Barry,?backup center Francisco Elson, and the San Antonio?NBA Draft pick in 2009.?The Spurs have wanted a quality big man?in the middle for quite a while to compete against Yao Ming in the West, as well as for the playoff run. Thomas is in his thirteenth season in the Association, his first in Seattle. He has played in 42 game this year for Seattle starting 39 of then, averaging 7.5 points, 8.8 rebounds per game.
