The Associated Press reported Thursday night that Tony Parker will be back playing for the San Antonio Spurs as they match up against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Parker had missed nine straight games as he has a badly inflamed left ankle, which was only going to get better with rest. Parker will play just limited minutes according to Spurs coach Gregg Popovich who spoke with reporters before the two teams took the court Thursday. Theo Ratliff will also be making his return for the T-Wolves, he has missed 45 games with a knee injury. Ratliff came to Minnesota in the deal that sent Kevin Garnett to Boston.
