Trade Dead Line Passes In NBA

The trade deadline has passed in the NBA as of 3:00 p.m. EST Thursday, and there is no word at the present time about any last minute deals. The only trade that has been reported that was consummated on Thursday, was a three team trade involving Memphis, Houston, and New Orleans. The New Orleans Hornets have acquired guard Mike James and swingman Bonzi Wells from Houston, in exchange for? guards Bobby Jackson, and Adam Haluska, and a future second round draft pick?from New Orleans. Memphis gets Marcus Vinicius the Brazilian born forward from the Hornets, and cash considerations from Houston. There may be deals that are still in the pipe line but have not received NBA approval yet. We will keep you updated if any deals are announced.
