Cavaliers Will Have Two NBDL Players On Roster Friday Night

The Cleveland Cavaliers announced Friday afternoon that they have signed two players from the NBDL for their contest Friday night as they host the Washington Wizards. The Cavaliers are extremely short handed now as a result of the comings and goings of the three team Mega-Trade between Cleveland, the Chicago Bulls, and the Seattle Supersonics, on Thursday. Cleveland also will b without shooting guard Daniel Gibson for the next 4-6 weeks with a badly sprained left ankle. The two players are both from The Colorado 14ers, they are forward Kaniel Dickens and guard Billy Thomas. Dickens has averaged 20.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists, Thomas has averaged 15.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists. The NBA bylines stipulate that a team must have a minimum of 8 players dressed for the game.
