Gibson Out 4-6 Weeks For Cavaliers

Well as if life was not going to be tough enough for the next couple of weeks for the Cleveland Cavaliers, after the huge shakeup the team went through on Thursday with the three team “Mega-Trade” they were involved in, once again the Cavaliers have been bit by the injury bug.The Associated Press reported Friday that the latest victim?is Cleveland shooting guard Daniel Gibson, who severely sprained his left ankle on Wednesday night as Cleveland defeated Indiana. Gibson who was assisted off the hardwood by teammates will miss between 4-6 weeks with the injury. There is a great possibility that Cleveland will have to sign players from the NBDL just to be able to dress the league minimum of 8 players for their contest Friday night against the Washington Wizards. The game will be telecast on a National basis on ESPN, I’m sure the guys in programming are ecstatic.
