Nets Waive Former All-Star Jamaal Magloire

Okay, maybe you can explain this to me, because this really does not make any sense to me at all. Friday we reported that the New Orleans Hornets, are going to try to entice retired center P.J. Brown to return to the Association in a Hornets uniform. The Detroit Pistons meanwhile are trying to lure Dale Davis out of retirement and back to play for them. Now we tell you that the New Jersey Nets are requesting waivers on former All-Star center Jamaal Magloire, why aren’t either of these teams going after him, instead once he clears waivers? I mean Dale Davis was a pretty good player back in the day, but I’m 51 years old, and I may have gone to high school with him (Just kidding but he is old.) P.J. Brown was never all that and a bag of chips back in the day. Magloire signed with the Nets last Summer as a free agent, he’ll turn 30 years old in May. Just a suggestion guys.
