The Pistons announced Friday that they have waived guard Ronald “Flip” Murray and are pursuing retired big man Dale Davis. Davis retired after playing the last two seasons in Detroit, he has not played at all this season. Murray was signed as a free agent by the Pistons after the 2006 season, he averaged 7.5 points, 3.4 assists, in just 19 games this season, including three starts. Aaron Afflalo and Rodney Stuckey had supplanted Flip in the Detroit rotation.
