Barry Keeping His Options Open

The “San Antonio Express-News” reported Saturday that the agent for Brent Barry said that the recently waived guard was keeping his options open. Arn Tellem, Barry’s agent according to the report says that Barry has not decided where he would like to finish the season. The veteran who was part of last season’s NBA Championship San Antonio Spurs roster was traded on Wednesday along with center Francisco Elson to Seattle for Kurt Thomas. The Sonics subsequently waived Barry giving him an array of options. One would be to go back to the Spurs but he would have to wait 30 days because of Association rules. The Houston Rockets and Phoenix Suns have also expressed interest.?
