Warriors’ Biedrins Has Appendectomy

The Associated Press is reporting that Golden State Warriors center Andris Biedrins will be out for an indefinite period after undergoing an appendectomy Thursday. Biedrins missed his first game of the campaign Friday night as the Warriors lost to the Atlanta Hawks 117-110. Although the team said that no time table has been set for the fourth year veteran’s return to action the team said he would be out at least a week. Biedrins had started 41 out of Golden State’s 54 games, averaging 10.3 points and 9.7 boards per contest. He is pretty much of a iron man the last game he missed was April 4, 2006.
