Audio – Dazzling Debut: Wallace and the Cavs Pound Memphis 109-89

It was a successful debut all the way around for the new look Cleveland Cavaliers, as they laid waste to the awful Memphis Grizzlies Sunday night at Quicken Loans Arena 109-89. The sellout crowd at the “Q” had was into the game even before it started, cheering the four new Cavs that came to the team in Thursday’s mega deal with the Bulls and Sonics. Overall, Delonte West and Ben Wallace started, and West had five points and six assists, while Wallace had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. The other two new Cavs that came off the bench also did a nice job, as Joe Smith had 14 points and six rebounds, and Wally Szczerbiak had 10 points in 31 minutes.
