Hornets Reportedly Looking For Center For Stretch Run

The “Times-Picayune” reported Tuesday that the New Orleans Hornets have been making inquiries into picking up a center for the stretch run of the regular season as well as the Post Season. The Hornets have said to be interested in P.J. Brown who is retired and rejected offers from other teams this campaign, as well as Chris Andersen. Andersen however would first have to be reinstated by the Association after being banned from the NBA two years ago due to a drug violation. New Orleans is 37-18, in second place in the NBA Southwestern Division one game behind the San Antonio Spurs.
