Kleiza’s New Agent Wants Contract Extension For Client

The “Rocky Mountain News” Thursday reported that the new agent for Denver Nuggets forward Linas Kleiza’s new agent is looking for a contract extension for his client once the season is over. Kleiza has ended his relationship with his former agent Herb Rudoy, and is now signed to BDA Sports Management. BDA also represents Kleiza?s teammates Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony. His new agent Bill Duffy is very comfortable playing for the Nuggets, and that they must value him, or he would have been traded last week. Kleiza?s name was mentioned prominently in trade rumors concerning a deal that would have sent Sacramento Kings forward Ron Artest to Denver.? However sources close to the team said that Nuggets coach George Karl did not want to give up Kleiza.
