No New News On Walker’s Status

The “Minneapolis Star Tribune” reported Thursday that the reason Minnesota Timberwolves veteran forward Antoine Walker did not travel with the team to face the Toronto Raptors was according to T-Wolves coach Randy Wittman a “passport problem” and it had absolutely nothing to do with Walker looking to be bought out of his contract.

Walker’s agent Mark Bartelstein said the passport snafu was a “miscommunication” and that were no new developments on his client being bought out by Minnesota. Walker has until March 1, to sign with a contending team, Bartelstein said he truly had no indication on how the situation would be resolved.
