Not All Aces For Acie As He Is Scheduled For MRI

The “Atlanta Journal-Constitution” reported Thursday that Atlanta Hawks rookie point guard Acie Law IV is scheduled to get a MRI to try to determine how bad an injury he sustained to his right wrist. The team’s trainers originally thought it was just a sprain, but the rookie has missed the past three games and it is not getting any better. Atlanta, who is fighting to get into the Post Season has a 23-32 mark, and is in third place in the NBA Central Division. Hawks coach Mike Woodson, says he needs a healthy Law back on the floor. He told the paper “If and when he’s ready to go medically, he’s going to be back out there. Our numbers are down right now, so we could obviously use every guy we can. But we’re not going to rush him or anyone else back from an injury. We’ll deal with what we’ve got and go from there.”
