It’s the story in the Windy City that just will not go away, who exactly instituted the ban that keeps Chicago Bulls players from joining in solidarity and being allowed to wear head bands. The “Chicago Tribune” reported that the rule surfaced when former Cleveland Cavaliers players?Drew Gooden and Larry Hughes joined the Bulls last week. Gooden and Hughes who have worn the head bands for most of their careers in the Association, were informed by interim coach Jim Boylan told them they were not allowed to wear them playing for the Bulls. Rumors started to surface that it was Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf who instituted the ban, but Reinsdorf says it was former Bulls coach Scott Skiles who put the rule in place. Maybe the team should concentrate a little more on finishing out games, and a little less time worrying about fashion choices.
