Ray Allen led four Boston Celtics starters in double figure with 23 points, and point guard Rajon Rondo had a career high 16 assists, as the Green Team held off the Charlotte Bobcats Friday night 108-100. Boston after losing their first three games after the All-Star break have now won four in a row.

The Celtics had the lead at the end of the first period 33-28. ?Charlotte went cold in the second quarter while the Celts kept hitting their shots which led to a 61-46 advantage as the two teams reached the half. The Bobcats cut the advantage to just 9 points, when Raymond Felton hit 2 at the line to make it a 78-69 contest with just 2:45 left in the quarter. Boston scored the next 8 points, however to make it 86-69, and at the end of the third Boston was ahead 86-72. The Bobcats were able to get as close as five points down in the fourth, but could get no closer.

Ray Allen scored 23 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal in the win. Kendrick Perkins had his best game in quite a while as he scored 19 points, 9 boards, 5 blocks, 2 assists, 2 steals, Kevin Garnett scored 17 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal. Paul Pierce scored 13 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, and Rajon Rondo scored just 9 points, but more than made up for it with his 16 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 steals.

Jason Richardson led all players with a game high 30 points for Charlotte, he also had 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals. Raymond Felton recorded a double-double, as he scored 22 points, 10 assists, 7 rebounds, 1 steal, Matt Carroll scored 16 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block. Emeka Okafor scored 11 points, 7 boards, 2 steals, 1 assist, 1 block. Boston is now 45-12, while Charlotte is 19-39.
