Howard’s 20-20 Night Leads Magic To Blow Out Of Knicks 118-92

The way Dwight Howard is going, not only will he have a lifetime charter membership to the NBA’s most exclusive fraternity the “20-20 Club” he may be come President. Howard made his latest visit on Saturday night as he scored 26 points, and grabbed 22 boards, leading the Orlando Magic to a 118-92 pasting of the hapless New York Knicks. Hedo Turkoglu also came up huge for Orlando as he just missed a triple-double, scoring 25 points, dishing off 10 assists, and 8 rebounds in the easy victory.
New York stayed competitive in this game for the first quarter as Orlando led by a slim 31-29 at the end of the first period. But then Orlando showed what a superior team they are to a Knicks team that truly can not wait until the end of the regular season ends. The Magic were on top 68-54 when the game reached the half. Orlando was ahead by 20 points, at the end of the third quarter as they had ?a 94-74 advantage. The fourth quarter was nothing but extended garbage time.
Orlando had all five starters in double figures, and shot 51.9% from the floor for the game (41-79.)? Howard scored 26?points, 22 boards, 3 steals, 2 blocks, 1 assist.? Hedo scored 25 points, 10 assists, 8 rebounds, Rashard Lewis scored 22 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 assist.? Carlos Arroyo scored 13 points, 8 assists, 3 rebounds, Maurice Evans scored 11 points,?2 rebounds, in the win.
New York was led by the only guy that has played consistently for them all year long Jamal Crawford.? Jamal scored 23 points,? 7 assists, 1 rebound. Quentin Richardson scored 16 points, 7 rebounds, David Lee who also has had some good games for New York this campaign, scored 11 points coming off the bench, 7 boards, 1 steal.? Veteran Malik Rose also scored 11 points coming off the bench, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal.? Orlando improves to 38-23, New York is 18-41.
