Reports Say Cassell Is Heading To Boston

The “Boston Globe” reported Monday that David Falk the agent for soon to be free agent Sam Cassell, says his client will sign with the Boston Celtics once he clears waivers Monday at 6:00p.m. Cassell was bought out of of his contract last week by the Los Angeles Clippers. Cassell has made it clear for months he would love to play with his former Minnesota teammate Kevin Garnett. Cassell would become the primary backup for starting point guard Rajon Rondo.
