Riley May Miss Games To Scout Players

The Associated Press reported Thursday that Miami Heat Team President and head coach Pat Riley is considering possibly missing a couple of games on the bench, in the next couple of weeks to scout college players. Since Riley wears both hats with the Organization, he will be the deciding factor in whom the team drafts in the 2008 NBA Draft. Riley has not confirmed that he will do this, but according to reports he seems to? be leaning in that direction. The Heat have the worst record in the NBA at 11-47, so they will have good odds of acquiring a top three draft pick.
