Ever since Wednesday night’s Cleveland Cavaliers victory over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, when Knicks fans chanted “MVP” and gave a standing ovation to Cavaliers superstar LeBron James, the national media has been abuzz with tales that LBJ will eventually end up in the Big Apple.  James spoke to the “Cleveland Plain Dealer” and said that those reports were baseless. James says he is used to the rumors of him ending up in New York, and he thinks he knows the reason why they have come so pervasive. LBJ told the paper that the reasons the rumors persist are ” Because how bad New York (teams are) and they’re looking for a guy who can help change things around, and because how close I am to Jay-Z  there are questions about that every day. I’m fine. I’m happy where I am. Being home is meaningful to me.” Hip Hop and Rap Star Jay-Z is a part owner of the New Jersey Nets.
