J-Kidd Says He Never Quit On Nets

 
The “New York Daily News” reported that in an interview with Dallas Mavericks point guard Jason Kidd, Kidd refuted insinuations by New Jersey Nets President Rod Thorn that he had quit playing his best while still playing for New Jersey. Houston Wins Franchise Record 17th Straight Game Beat Dallas 113-98

 
Tracy McGrady scored a game high 31 points, and the Houston Rockets shot a blistering 54.2% (45-83) from the floor for the game, as they defeated the Dallas Mavericks Thursday night 113-98. The win extended the longest winning streak in team history to 17 games.

Six Bulls Score In Double Figures As Chicago Shocks Cleveland 107-96

 
Ben Gordon and Luol Deng scored 23 points each as they were two of six Chicago Bulls players to score in double figures Thursday as they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers handily 107-96.
