Thomas Says He Is Feeling More Comfortable On The Court

The “Washington Times” reported that Washington Wizards center Etan Thomas took part in some five on five drills in practice with the team Wednesday, and felt far more comfortable on the court in this attempt, than he had when he first practiced with the team last month. Thomas underwent open heart surgery in October to repair a leaky aortic valve, when the operation was performed they had to crack open his sternum. Thomas’ heart is fully recovered, but when he practiced with the team on February 18, he took a blow to the chest that made him stop practicing for the next few weeks. Thomas has said that he would like to play for Washington before the season is over.
