Clippers Sign Fazekas To Second 10-Day Contract

On Saturday, the Los Angeles Clippers announced they signed free-agent forward Nick Fazekas, a second-round pick in last year’s draft, to a second 10-day contract; the Clippers had previously signed Fazekas to a 10-day contract on February 27. Fazekas had been drafted by the Dalas Mavericks out of the University of Nevada, but did not see any action this season; he was released on February to accomodate Keith Van Horn, who was involved in the trade in which Dallas acquired point guard Jason Kidd from the New Jersey Nets. In 3 games with the Clippers, Fazekas has scored just 2 points and grabbed 3 rebounds.
