Rockets Sign Harris, Release Green

Houston Rockets forward Mike Harris?

According to SportsTicker, the Houston Rockets on Saturday signed forward Mike Harris to a 10-day contract; Harris had signed with Houston as a free agent on July 13, but was released after playing in 2 preseason games.? After being released by the Rockets on October 22, Harris signed with DongGuan, a professional team in the Chinese Basketball Association, averaging 24.3 PPG and grabbing 11.6 RPG in 25 games for the team.

Harris played in 5 preseason contests for the Milwaukee Bucks last season and spent the remainder of the year playing for Colorado of the D-League; in another transaction, the Rockets released swingman Gerald Green, who was acquired from the Minnesota Timberwolves in a trade on February 21; he played in only one game for the Rockets.
