According to Ivan Carter of the Washington Post, the Washington Wizards were notified by the NBA that they will play some preseason games in Europe, specifically against the New Orleans Hornets in Barcelona and Berlin in October as part of the NBA Europe tour.? Two other teams that are expected to play in Europe as well are the Miami Heat and New Jersey Nets; the Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves took part in last season’s NBA tour.? The official announcement by the league will take place later this month.
