Brand Says There’s No Quit In Me

The “Los Angeles Times” Monday reported that although Los Angeles Clippers forward Elton Brand becomes an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, he really does not foresee changing his work address. Brand who has missed all season after rupturing his Achilles tendon, says that if the Clippers put a competitive offer on the table, he would probably be amenable to signing it. Brand says he owes it to his fans, his teammates, and his coach Mike Dunleavy. The veteran told the paper “I’m not one to just up and leave a situation. I’m not a quitter. I owe it to the fans. I owe it to Coach. He’s out there coaching every single play.”
