Heat Release Parker

In what was expected, although the timing was a bit curious, the Miami Heat released maligned guard Smush Parker on Monday. Parker played in only 9 games this season, while trying to deal with legal issues; the problems arose from an incident when a Miami female accused Parker of twisting her arm over a dispute over a valet fee.
Denied his keys until he settled his debt, Parker allegedly pushed a valet podium and grabbed McKenzie’s arm, according to the police report; also in the police report, Parker claimed to have paid the fee a night earlier. He said that he had any cash to pay at that time. McKenzie is reportedly seeking criminal charges against Parker.
