The “Record” out of New Jersey says that New Jersey Nets Team President Rod Thorn is making a priority in this coming off-season to shore up the team’s shooting. Thorn has not been pleased with the shot selection all season long nor the fact that they allow defenses to confuse them. He told reporters Wednesday before they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 104-99, that shooting was one area the team drastically need to improve in. Thorn said “We haven’t shot the ball well enough. A lot of teams zone us, which has given us a lot of problems. We definitely need to either have some of our guys on our team get better shooting the ball or get some people that can make shots. That’s an area we’ll look at very closely.”
