Cavaliers Have Decisions To Make On Dickens & Thomas

The “Akron Beacon-Journal” Thursday reported that the Cleveland Cavaliers have a decision to make that could effect their whole season. The second ten day contracts on forward Kaniel Dickens and guard Billy Thomas expire on Thursday, and Cleveland has two choices. sign the two former NBDL players for the balance of the season, or release them. Both Dickens and Thomas had played for the NBDL team the The Colorado 14ers (I have no idea what it signifies either.) Dickens had averaged 20.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists, Thomas had averaged 15.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists, for Colorado. Both have seen very limited time in games, and are basically more “practice players” than anything else.
